Let's talk about those whacky hormones & my struggle with balancing my hormones....
I know that so many of you have experienced hormonal imbalances at some point in your life and trust me when I say, that I know your pain. Personally, I have experienced my own rollercoaster of a journey with infertility for the past 9+ years and it has not been easy by any means. I am sure many of you can relate.
Being injected with hormones, applying hormone creams, and just in general hormones being all over the place due to many causes and all kinds of stress.
But the last 3 years have been MUCH better and I believe it is down to my hormones being more in balance. During the past 3 years, I have learnt to listen to my body and I can feel when my hormones go a little whacky. I am able to then make little adjustments which enable it to return to a more balanced & happy state again.
According to local Dr. Chantelle Nienhuis, "Hormone imbalance can result in mental and physical fatigue and can even affect your mood, causing feelings of depression as well as causing your body to retain excess weight."
I've found that our Anti-Inflammatory smoothies has helped greatly with assisting hormone balance, as Inflammation plays such a big role.
Not only is the combination of turmeric and ginger deliciously refreshing and the texture super creamy, but the benefits also include:
Turmeric: Curcumin is the main active ingredient in turmeric. It has powerful anti-inflammatory effects and is a very strong antioxidant.
Pineapple: Contains a wide variety of vitamins, minerals and enzymes like bromelain that may collectively boost immunity and suppress inflammation.
Ginger: A potent anti-inflammatory that can prevent inflammation from starting by reducing cell-signalling activity.
* For an added benefits and hormonal balancing, add Maca
If you are looking for the perfect way to start your morning easing inflammation in your tired body, then my Anti-inflammatory smoothie is just for you!
